Local Priorities Drug taking Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Drug taking, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Yesterday we were out and about in Brierfield and Reedley patrolling where a member of the public has informed us of some males sat in a car on Montford Road, Brierfield, inhailing gas canisters.

We acted on this immediately and located the vehicle. All 6 cannisters were seized. The car and 3 males were all searched for anymore illegal substances.

This was positive action taken by the community and ourselves working together.

If you see anything suspicious ore anything like this please contact us via 101 or if you see us out and about don't hesitate to stop us as we are always here to help.
